I've been working on this one on and off for about a week. A drawing just for the hell of it after I finished up the oldest and most pressing of the comissions I had to do. Now, on to the rest of the very long list.

The character is an anthro version of Aidan Ford, a werebeast character I came up with for a one-shot plot with my brother. He's a photographer, a craftsman, and a general outdoors type guy.

Done in graphite with Microns for the border on 9x12 bristol. Considering doing a digitally tinted colored version as well.

Daily DeviationPencils can create such an amazing level of depth and detail. Aidan, The Woodsman by =steeljaw has a curiously ironic look to it with the deer in the hunters jacket. (Suggested by =Nyiana-Sama and Featured by `guruubii)

stunning work. You can really feel the fur bristling under there.

Art is an extension of the soul. If you can not create you are soulless. And noone is soulless

I've always loved your pencil works, and this is no exception. I especially love the antlers. The detail, the shadowing... from the antlers, to the fur right down to the shirt. Excellent job! :D

In reply to one of my threads...

FC: ... I know one of my breasts is able to crush your head, so go away before I do so.
Unch: Jesus Fuck. If you look like that, you can crush my head any time you like.

Beautiful...I adore anthro deer, and Aidan is my son's name. :)
That's a truly awesome piece of art. Love the way his antlers escape the frame - especially love that mouth.
